Melanie Baum

Melanie recently joined the staff of Chicago Cardiology in October 2020. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Memphis Loewenberg College of Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse for several years at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She is a Certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner having completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Belmont University in Nashville, TN in 2019.
Melanie is interested in General Cardiology with a special emphasis on Electrophysiology. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and enjoys focusing on management of chronic disease and encouraging her patients to live healthy lifestyles with emphasis on exercise and diet. She enjoys working together with her patients to come up with individualized plans that will fit their lifestyle. She is very excited to have joined the team at Chicago Cardiology and is looking forward to getting to know and be a great resource for her patients.
