Chicago Cardiology Institute COVID-19 Update 

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to ravage the entire country, and world.  Hospitals are stressed facing the increased volume of infected patients.  Together as a community, we are adapting to the constantly evolving challenges.  

At Chicago Cardiology we believe that our patients are especially vulnerable in this environment and that interruption in their care can have a negative impact on their cardiovascular health and may increase the risk of hospitalization. This inturn can further overwhelm hospitals that are functioning at their capacity and expose our patients to the risk of contracting this virus.

We remain committed to continue providing comprehensive cardiovascular care in an office based setting.

In view of this, we at CCI have decided to continue providing the following services during this time: 

• Comprehensive cardiovascular and electrophysiologic consultation 
• Cardiac imaging (stress testing and echocardiograms) 
• Vascular studies (aortic, venous, and arterial with doppler)
• Telehealth: Video-based consultations and follow-up visits that are appropriate for the level of care needed – receive expert consultative care from the comfort of your own home. 

In order to ensure your safety and health, we carefully screen all patients and employees for COVID-19 symptoms.  All surfaces and machines are diligently wiped and cleaned with disinfectant. Utmost precautions are taken to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.
