Parag Doshi

Dr. Parag Doshi is the founding director of Chicago Cardiology Institute. He completed his cardiology fellowship at Christ Hospital/ Rush University, where he also served as the Chief Cardiology Fellow. He subsequently pursued his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Indiana Heart Institute under the tutelage of Late Dr. Thomas J. Linnemeier, one of the leading pioneers in the field. He is board certified in Cardiovascular disease, Interventional cardiology and also Nuclear cardiology.
Dr. Doshi is a nationally recognized leader in the field of Complex Coronary and Peripheral vascular interventions. Since 1998, he has performed thousands of procedures with excellent success rate. He is involved in teaching these procedures and has spoken at multiple conferences in the USA and across the world. Since 2010, he has served as the Co-director of C3 conference held annually in Orlando, which is attended by cardiologists from all over the world. He is also the pioneer in the filed of Chronic total Occlusion Interventions and has contributed to research as well as textbooks.
Dr. Doshi is also the founder of Chicago Vascular Clinic, first outpatient vascular center in the state of Illinois. He has also taught a large number of courses in the field of Peripheral vascular disease. He has been featured in the local newspapers due to his role in the prevention of the leg amputations. He is also one of the first cardiologists in the Chicagoland to perform Vein ablation for the treatment of Varicose veins. Since 2004, he has treated thousands of patients with Venous disease.
Notwithstanding his extensive expertise, his passion remains treating his patients like his family and friends and developing a warm and caring relationship with them. He works with his patients to develop disease prevention strategies using lifestyle, diet, and appropriate medications.
