The Inspiration Behind CVM
My passion has always been to treat each patient as if they were a member of my own family, striving to make a meaningful difference in their lives.
At CCI, we are dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art cardiovascular care with genuine compassion and empathy, not only for our patients but also for their families. It was with these core values that I established CCI.
Seeing CCI grow into the premier cardiovascular group in Metropolitan Chicago has been incredibly rewarding. Our offices are equipped with the most advanced diagnostic technology, providing comprehensive services that include CT scans, PET scans, echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, sleep studies, and a full range of arrhythmia treatments. We proudly established the first outpatient vascular center in the state of Illinois, where we have successfully performed thousands of peripheral vascular interventions, including angiograms, stents, and atherectomies. Additionally, we were among the pioneers in creating an integrated vein clinic to treat varicose veins.
The Chicago Cardiology Institute Team
Dr. Solomon Sager, a key member of our team, routinely performs intricate arrhythmia ablations, as well as pacemaker and ICD implantations. Dr. Elsayed Mohamed is a leading expert in minimally invasive structural heart procedures, particularly in the nonsurgical repair and replacement of heart valves. He is often one of the first physicians in Metropolitan Chicago to perform the latest valve procedures.
I trust my own family’s care to the skilled hands of CCI physicians, and I am proud to say that our exceptional care is made possible by our incredibly talented and devoted team members, many of whom have been with us since the early days.
Our logo, which you may have noticed, symbolizes our commitment to you: we will take care of your heart with the utmost care and compassion. The inspiration for our logo came from a young patient we treated in 2009, shortly after our group was founded. She developed a severe heart condition called cardiomyopathy, which left her heart dangerously weak. We provided her with the care she needed, and she ultimately underwent a successful heart transplant. During this challenging time, her husband created our logo to reflect our mission. Every heartbeat is truly precious, and we will always protect it.
