Katherine Heretis
MD, FACC
Dr. Heretis is a graduate from Ross University School of Medicine. She completed her internship at New York Medical College and her residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She performed a research fellowship at New York University School of Medicine, Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery and then continued her cardiology fellowship training in New York at the Weill-Cornell Medical College. Dr. Heretis was on staff at New York-Presbyterian Queens, Weill-Cornell Medical College as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine, Co-director of Cardiovascular Inpatient Consultative Services, and Co-Director of Cardiovascular Disease Fellows Clinic for several years before returning home to Chicagoland. Dr. Heretis is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography, Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, and Obesity Medicine. Her areas of interest include Echocardiography, Nuclear Medicine, Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, Women’s Health, and Weight Management. Dr. Heretis is also fluent in Greek. .
