Switi Patel is a passionate and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with a strong academic foundation and hands-on clinical experience. Known for her energetic approach to patient-centered care, Switi excels in conducting thorough assessments, developing evidence-based treatment plans, and fostering a collaborative healthcare environment.
Switi holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing, where she completed her Family Nurse Practitioner program in March 2024. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from Gujarat University in India. Her multilingual abilities (English, Gujarati, and Hindi) enable her to connect with diverse patient populations and address their unique healthcare needs.
With over four years of nursing experience, Switi has honed her clinical skills as a Registered Nurse at St. Alexius Medical Center, where she served as a Charge Nurse and preceptor for new staff. She has provided compassionate, high-quality care to patients in Med-Surg Oncology, managed emergency situations, and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Switi’s clinical training as an FNP includes comprehensive practicum experience in family practice and internal medicine. She is proficient in diagnosing and treating chronic and acute health conditions, prescribing medications, ordering diagnostic tests, and educating patients about preventive care. Her ability to build rapport with patients and address their concerns ensures they feel empowered in their healthcare journey.
A quick learner and tech-savvy professional, Switi is adept at using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems like Cerner and eClinicalWorks, streamlining communication and improving care coordination.
